Ideal Standard wins 2024 Red Dot Product Design Awards across three new collections

Every year, the awards celebrate products that are aesthetically appealing, functional, smart and innovative – all with outstanding design.

This year, the judges picked out the new-for-2024 collections La Dolce Vita, Alu⁺ and Solos, only weeks after the same three won out in the iF International Forum Design competition.

First to be praised was La Dolce Vita®, an extensive bathroom range which captures the essence of relaxed Italian living with its elegant design. Launching in June, this comprehensive collection includes a wide range of bathroom solutions, blending geometric shapes with natural inspiration for a timeless aesthetic.

Next was Solos, an innovative collection with a centrepiece integrated tap and basin, as well as sleek shower solutions. Crafted from cutting-edge materials, Solos offers modern luxury and convenience for everyday bathroom use.

The Alu⁺ range clinched the third award, emphasising sustainability with its high-quality recyclable aluminium material. Free from chrome and nickel, Alu⁺ features water-saving technology and practical storage solutions, making it perfect for compact spaces. Available in three low-sheen finishes, it offers customers a fresh take on bathroom colour schemes.

The award-winning pieces are seamlessly compatible with other products across Ideal Standard's huge, cross-category portfolio, offering a holistic bathroom solution through its innovative Singular™ approach. Singular™ has been created to streamline the selection process, driving creativity and simplifying bathroom design for architects, designers, retailers, tradespeople and end-users.

As one of the largest design competitions worldwide, the Red Dot Award receives thousands of submissions annually. Since its establishment in 1955, the prestigious Red Dot distinction has served as a globally recognised symbol of design excellence.
